This brings me to one of my favorite topics....do accessories have to match? We all know that church outfit with a hat that matches the suit, purse, and shoes, with a scarf to finish it off (insert speechless emoji). Well...I have a friend who always says "accessories are not made to match, they are stand-alone statements!" I have another friend who says accessories are part of the story...the entire outfit being that story of course. So, which is it? Well, I say it depends. For instance, print accessories on a solid outfit can go nuts, for example...
My sister calls the solid color outfit the "blank palate"...well said! However, when you wear print, be careful! Much the same way you have to be mindful of mixing metals (gold vs silver vs bronze) in your outfits. Lets see some accessories make some BOLD stand-alone statements below...
